I have a G key harp, should I get a C?

I got a G key harp, and have been playing it for a couple days, and can play the major scale, and some basic songs. But I'd like to know if I should get a key of C harp so that I can play G in second position.

I also know that the key of G harp is the lowest, would it be better to learn on a C?
