The C harp is popular due inpart to its location on the musical scale, close to the middle, and I guess because a lot of Blues are in the Guitar key of G so a C harp is second position or cross harp position, aka Blues Harp. You can learn some straight harp G licks on your harp. I really like playing a G harp, a lot of slide guitar is done in the key of D, so a G harp is second position for slide. I would highly recommend getting a C, it sounds like your on your way..Good Luck to you...
