: I got a G key harp, and have been playing it for a couple days, and can play the major scale, and some basic songs. But I'd like to know if I should get a key of C harp so that I can play G in second position.
: I also know that the key of G harp is the lowest, would it be better to learn on a C?
to play the blues on a harp you have got to learn to bend notes, this could be a problem for a learner using a harp in a low key such as G,therefor it is advisable to have a harp in the key of C or D,plus most songs are in the key of G or A.so a C or D harp is ideal to play along with songs in these keys.
