Im a wet player too, but man thats because I get thirsty for a beer when I'm playing (right Bluz)
I've got a C marine band with sticky out comb, I dont worry about it. You might be able to find single notes easier!
Look at it this way, if you can express yourself with that comb go and buy a nice new Lee Oskar in C or one of those Suzuki metal comb pro harps that look fantastic and see how they run across the lips!!
