""Dirty Old Town" by the Pogues"

Can anyone help out with the harp part that opens up "Dirty Old Town" by the Pogues? Sounds like first position staright harp, but I can't quite figure out the tab..

Harp on,
Bob

Bob,

I don't have the tab, but if you find a sound file for it at iTunes or Amazon.com, paste the link here, and I will tell you the key of the song which will make playing along and working out the tab much easier.

Bob,

What I heard on the sample was the key of "G" and "E minor". These keys are very similar because they are related as relative major and minor (same notes in common, but different starting note).

Without hearing more of the tune, I think your best bet is to start with a key of "G" diatonic in 1st Position or try a key of "C" diatonic in 2nd Position and stick with the Country Scale-

On a lark, I did a site search, and it turns out someone on this site tabbed it out 3 years ago or so. Small world! Here's what they came up with:

INTRO)
3b 4b 4d 5b (let it float)
4b 4d 5b 4b 3b (vibrato and let it float)
5b 6b 6d 6b 5b 4d 4b 5b (float+vibrato)
3b 4b 5b 4d (keep it long) 4b (long)

Harp on,
Bob
