"2nd position jamming"

I use the standard 2D 3D 4B 4D-b 4D 5D 6B scale when jamming to blues and of course it sounds great. What is I wanna keep working my way up the harp? Which notes should I play and which should I avoid? Conversely, If I go down all way?

Thanks to all!

Chris

Chris,

Take a look at the Extended 2nd Position Blues Scale. It's very possible that it's a bit advanced for you at this time, but it won't hurt to take a look-

Play on,

Thanks, That scale looks great. I'll start using it. If I give it a go for a few weeks I'll be able to play that ok. The only tough part for me is the 9 hole (which I rarely use) and hitting the double bend on 2 going up and down...but actually I need the practice on both of those weak points so actually its perfect.

Thanks as always.
