When I played guitar, I could have cared less. I played chords and box patterns like most guitar players. I made it a priority to know the note layouts on my harps. Since then I have learned to read music. I dont use it when I play Blues, it's more a feeling, but it opens a new world musically. All things musical that I use to perceive as mind boggling, now are easier to understand.........bluz
