I don't think I'm actually practicing the U-block method cause first off it seem extremely difficult to learn in this fashion naturaly, and second, I've never been within the only 20% to do anything. Especially when it involves genetic coding!! But anyway. I don't necessarily curl my tongue at all, but just place it on the vertical bars separating each hole. Example: placing my tongue on the bar separating the 2nd and 3rd hole, plays the 4th hole note. Placing my tongue on the bar separating the 4th and 5th hole, plays the 6 hole note. I've learned myself this way and have played this way since I've picked up the harp. I know that I can't possibly be the only person whoes done this! I just wanted some validation on the technique.
