I have heard mention of mic-ing an amp, but dont understand how, since pointing a mic at the amp causes feedback. Right now I just have a very very small TechAmp which is not enough for some of the jams I like to go to. I was stuck last night when none of the other nice folks had a free hookup on their amps. Sure would like to avoid buying a bigger one for now, since I'm still a beginner. Thanks!
