Listen to just about any Muddy Waters album. He usually has his harmonica players play behind him while he's singing. The recommended ones from the store here are very good examples of what you're talking about. Hard Again and Father and sons are the ones I'm thinking of in particluar.

: I don't know if that's the correct term. But basically I realized that EVERY single song I've ever listened to that had a harmonica part in it, was a solo. Whether it was 5 seconds, or 5 minutes. Why is that?? Have I just not found a song where there's harmonica in the background, plus vocals at the same time?? I know a lot of artists happen to sing as well, therefore they obviously can't sing plus play harp at the same time, but still...

: Anyone know where I'm coming from??
