Note that it isnt all kinds of stainless steel that contains Nickel. But Nickel-free stainless steel will probably be found only on more expensive harps.
You have two options:
1: You can buy a a Nickel-testing set, as you will need it everytime you are buying a watch, ring etc for your son. Then test the harmonicas at the musicstore before you buy the harmonica.
2: You can also E-mail eg. Lee Oscar and ask if their Harmonicas are Nickel-free.
