A friend of mine received a kareoke machine which has the capability of dubbing. He layed down a track with vocals and guitar and then I added the harp and it sounded terrible. The harp sounded as flat as hell. I ran the mic(cheap one) straight into the machine without any way to adjust any levels(bass, mid, tremble) due to the fact that the machine is not equipped with any. Does any one think this could be the problem. This is the first time I've ever recorded myself and it might be the last. Ha Ha. By the way, his vocals and guitar sounded great. He sang thru the same mic I had. I hate to think that it sounds that bad live-- Thanks-- Pete
