so... i got this harmonica that my great uncle left me, after he passed away.
i am not sure what kind it is or how it fits into everything i am reading. there are 12 holes. it seems that the 4 and 5 holes give the same note, as do the 8 and 9 holes. there is also a lever or switch or something that when pressed gives a rows of holes on the bottom, they all seem to be 1/2 step from the top holes. so, with all these holes, levers, and holes that seem to give the same note... i am very confused. however, last nite i was able to get single notes and bust out a made version of "row, row, row your boat". i was using the curve the tongue method or something like that... is that a good method?
so... does anyone know what kind of harmonica i have?
also, i can't get anything on my 2 hole when i draw. is there some blockage or something?? i just don't know.
thanks for any help.
