So obviously you perform in public. That's pretty cool. How long did it take before you were good enough and had the courage to get up in front of a crowd to perform? I think that would be fun but I'm not sure I've got the guts to do that. My hat's off to you!

: Variety Is The Spice Of Life. If you can afford to try a few different brands. Ive seen players with a full set Of Lee Oscars and then theres the guy with an old suit case full of every kind of harp you can think of. No matter what you do I would recommend marking the keys on your harps so you can read them in stage lighting. Nothing like holding up a show because you cant find the right key, or cant read it in the dark. I mark mine in second position so I just grap the key of the song and Im ready to go, if Im playing in second position. I would recommend these Keys if youre a Blues type in this order C A D G E Bb & F this will cover most Blues Jam situations. Then Eb I try to have keys I know the singers will use.
