I gotta agree with Bluzharper. I have been playing for a year and I have been collecting the full line of Lee Oscars. The Hohner Special 20 is also nice and I have two of those. Both LOs and S20s have plastic combs which helps them to be consitently easy to play as compared with wood comb harps.

Lee Oskars are tuned to be a bit brighter than the Special 20s. Some find this good, others find it not so good. In the end, however, the tone that you get comes from you - not the harp.

I really like Lee Oskar harps because Mr. Oskar runs a GREAT company. I have had two occasions (not the fault of the harps) to do business directly with Lee Oskar Enterprises, Inc. and both times I was SHOCKED at how extraordinarilly well they served me. I am talking first rate all the way. Based on this alone, I would highly recommend the Lee Oskar harps.

Have fun.
