Wes I would recommend a Hohner Special 20 key of C or a Lee Oscar diatonic key of C for starters. Why? these are the best values IMHO. The Big Rivers have Reed Plates that extend to the front of the harp, Not real comfortable to say the least. The SP20 is played by John Popper of Blues Traveler, not a bad endorsement. Lee Oscars are just outstanding durable harps and I cant say enough good things about them. Played by Charlie Musselwhite & the late great Junior Wells, what more can I say. The reed plates in these two harps are recessed into the plastic bodies, much more comfortable I think. Please read thru this site for some valuable info. Good Luck...
