Thanks Gb, sounds like a good method. I'll try that. I've heard shower heads make a pretty cool looking shell for a mic also. Haven't tried it yet though.

: I made a mic out of an old CB mic too. I used the foam insulation, the king they use around doors and windows with one sticky side to wrap around the element. I kept wrapping it around till it was slightly bigger then the size of the opening then just squeezed it in. It worked great, keeps the little element in the center and holds it there.
