: : Here's the situation. I recently obtained a Hohner Bluesblaster mic, a Danelectro Honeytone Mini-Amp, and a 25' XLR to XLR cable. I am wondering how I connect this to the Mini-Amp, as the cable is high-impedance. Is there some form of adapter I need? I realize this is more of a beginners question, but any help would be appreciated.

Richard,
They do make an adapter that changes the XLR end to a phone jack, it's about $30.00 at Sam Ash.

: : In a similar situation I just use a cord w/ a 1/4 in. plug on the amp end. Adapters are also available, some to change impedence others not.
: Try before you buy to see what works best for you.
: Good luck.
