What are the drawbacks Kid, I'm taking a serious look at this puppy. I have a couple of bullets and want to move into smaller territory so I'm checking out the Honker but have decided to pass on the Madcat due to a few poor reviews I've read around the net. According to some the tone can be a bit thin. Haven't heard squat about the Barcus.

So I came across these little numbers. The Shaker Madcat and Barcus-Berry 5600 Harmonica Mic. Anyone interested in seeing them I can shoot you an email to the web sites. They look to be interesting concepts, but whos to say anything bout the mechanics, sound and durability of these little finds? Anyone out there familiar with these mic's? The 5600 comes with a preamp unlike the Madcat. I'm not yet sure who makes the Madcat though. When and if I find out, I'll drop a link.

: Take care all.
