True. The openings in L.O's are noticeably bigger and airier than in s20's. I found myself getting used to it once I realized that it forced me to adjust my technique a bit. Pay attention to how far you're putting the harp into your mouth and at what angle.
Even so, I have ended up gapping some of them down a little and doing a little tweaking, but not all that much. I don't mind tinkering a little if it saves me from having to buy a new harp or set of reedplates every other time I pick one up. I have yet to mangle a L.O. beyond playability, and that impresses me.
Oddly enough, I'm Dave, too, but I'll tell ya what; you can be Dave (and every variation thereof). ;)
