There are a couple of inexpensive repair books at harmonicastore.com. Pick up a couple, they all have different information in them. The Make Your Hrmonica Work Better book is mostly for chromatic repairs.
: I've noticed some new problems with both of my chromatic harmonicas. Unlike the diatonic harmonica, its chromatic counterpart has a much higher price tag.
: Do any of you have any experience with repairing chromatic harmonicas?
: Are there any good books or reliable web sites that deal in deep details with harmonica repairs?
: Although I like to consider myself clever when it comes to playing an instrument, I can't deny that when it comes to doing simple repairs, such projects often turn into disasters.
: I do remember the old rule of "righty tighty, lefty lucy," from boot camp (back in 1977). Hopefully that is a good start.
: Any advice would be desperately appreciated!
