kustom tube12 tube swap

First, is it possible to swap out the 12AX7 preamp tube on a 12 watt kustom amp and second, is it worth it and thirdly, if its possible and it's worth it is there a recommended tube to replace it with? Or is there a website I can go and bone up on this type of information.
