: : My problem is that I like the blues and I don't know how to play it on the chromatic. Especially chords that I can just 'chug' with.

: Sorry, The Chromatic just was not made to play the blues, but you can get still get a great sound, just not a down home chug. Save up 20 bones and get a good diatonic, Take Care, Big Jim

Piffle! Of course you can play the blues on a chromatic. All the blue notes are there. I don't know much about chromatics, and I haveno idea what chards are available, but you can certainly play riffs. That's basically what blues playing is all about; playing riffs.

So don't be discoraged, Rob. Keep searching for source material on the WWW, try to work out some riffs yourself, and most of all, have fun.
