: Has anyone else noticed that Hohner harps are very poorly made and go out of tune real quick?
: I started off playing about two years ago. I bought Hohners because of the variety, but had constant problems with air leaks, bad reeds, the chrome fading and what not. I then bought a Lee Oskar Major Diatonic. What a difference; very air tight, reeds lasted a long time and a beautiful sound. Now I'll never go back to Hohner.
Hey Guys,
Fender was the first company to mass-manufacture and sell the Fender Precision. The year was 1951. Gibson was next to widely market the EB-1 bass The year was 1953.
I doubt that there was ever as much contoversy between even the most die-hard Gibson players and Fender players as the Lee Oskar vs Hohner issue, which continues to rage.
Wishing you success in your endeavors,
Patrick
