: : I was wondering if anybody knew of a way to burn midi files onto cds so I can listen and jam to them without being at my computer. Sorry that this isn't really a harmonica question but I figured some of you may have run into the same problem.

: Midi's are a computer file. Im sure you could burn them onto CD's, but only a computer can play them. CD players wont i am pretty sure. its possible there is a programme that will convert midi to MP3, you should search around and post this question on more technical sites.

Actually, you can burn CDs from your computer that will work on your CD player. I use Easy CD Creator. There are others. Make sure that you are buring to a CD-R NOT a CD-RW. I made that mistake once before. I do just what you're wanting to do, that's create a CD you can play along with either in the car, around the house or anywhere, other then your PC. Hope that helps.
