You would most likely need to find a friend or a music teacher with a good ear to figure out and write out the solo for you.

If a song is in the key of G, the song is in the key of G. Everyone who plays on it must be in the key of G. It doesn't matter which key of harp or position you use, as long as what you play comes out in the key of G. The same is true for other instruments, regardless of terminology or instrument desciption, they must be playing in the key of G for a key of G song.

Once the solo is written down, you will most likely want to play it in second position on a C harp (in the key of G).

: is there a way to transpose the sax solo from" bad to the bone" to the harp and if so what key will it be in the song is in "G" will it be "C' playing cross harp or is the sax a"C" instrument
