As long as you don't play along with the CD, the C harmonica is fine. If you play with the original recorded song you need to be in the same key as the song for it to not "sound like crap".

: I have brought a harp book "the harp styles of Bob Dylan" but i have only got a harp in the key of c. All of the songs use a different key harp though. Is there any way in which i can play the songs on my C hamonica without it sounding crap.
