and says..."What's that"?......I says "It's a harmonica"....
She says" why is it in the car"...
I says "so I can play it when I'm driving".
She says "people will think you're weird"
I says-"Hon - I am weird--anyway--it's only a harmonica if I start trying to play the drums or the guitar when I'm driving you can call me weird".
: I turned 50 in Jan of this year and like you decided I should "scratch that itch", Slim Harpo-like. I took a 12 wk beginner's course at the local juco, so I've been "playing" since January. Most of my "practice" time comes in the car to and from work. My "professional" opinion is that it doesn't matter where you play as long as you're playing. So rock out in the car and don't worry about form or bad habits. HOWEVER, it would be important not to develop bad form or habits so at least be aware or what you're doing right and wrong while sitting behind the wheel.
: There are a lot more knowledgeble people on this board and they can alert you if they think I've passed on bad info.
: I feel like Austin Powers with the use of so many "quote marks" Sorry...
