Props EJ! Glad I could be of influenece. You'll dig the M.C. set. Wait till you get to the basic 8 bar blues riff. It'll keep ya goin'. I know Xactly what you mean bout rhythms in the head. Keep it up and enthusiastic. The journey is the pleasure. The destination is the reward. Glad you made the investment and you definately won't be sorry. That Marry had a Little lamb will sound soooo much better in a few months. Keep on riffin', and never lose the blues!

-Kid.

: Great stuff, SlipKid! Mr Portnoy came knocking on my door yesterday and I have welcomed him into my home with open arms!! What a fantastic CD course! I've been working on the chord rhythm and tongue blocking lessons and they're really, really useful. I've now got that HUT-ta-hut-ta-HUT-ta-hut-ta-ta rhythm playing in my head on a permanent loop... so I know I am absorbing the knowledge even when I can't actually pick up my harp. After two weeks of 'Mary Had a Little Lamb' I was feeling a bit fed up and directionless, but I am once again enthused. And I'm not even resentful about being stung for £12.36 of customs duty... Well, not TOO resentful :) I had been considering Portnoy but your recommendation decided it for me, so thanks.
