Nancy,

I'm familiar with it C/G Echo Harp as I have one myself. It's what’s known as a tremelo harp. In others words it plays two notes slightly off at the same time to give the lovely "quivering" sound. Mickey Raphael, the harminicist for Willie Nelson sometimes uses one. Anyway, this site and most instruction material is set up for learning on a 10 hole diatonic in the key of C and sometimes A. I would recommend learning basics on the diatonic and then fooling around with the Echo harp. The notes on the Echo harp (the one I have) are laid out the same as on the diatonic. So it won't be long until your able to play it.

Jon Gindick has a nice beginner book/CD set called Harmonica Americana that has some songs that sound swell with this harp.

Welcome to this site.
