: i am making some blues and party guitar songs for harmonica...but thet doesn't seem to express anyone...
: so when the guitar is starting in D for example...what should i do? start in D? really confusing...can't play with my friends.

If your playing blues/rock try using a G harmonica for if the guitar key is D. This if for 2nd position on the harmonica: 3 scale notes above the key; if the key of the song is in G play a C harmonica; if the key of the song is in A, play a D harmonica. Or you can use 3rd position where the harmonica you'd use is 1 full step lower than the key of the song: if the song is in D, play a C harmonica... See the lessons here at harmonica lessons.com and also on my site http://www.geocities.com/mottabona/Harmonica.html
