Willie, I've got 3 diatonics that I originally purchased, just to try out different brands etc. It really boils down to preference. Each have their characteristics, some which may benifit you, some may not. For iinterchangable reeds, you can try Honer Pro Harps. My C tends to not be as air tight as my LO or Special 20, but for some reason I've really taken a liking to it. Or the other Honer Cross Harp model. Both are 'modular systems' - MS, which means you can purchase replacement reads.
Top notes tooya.
: I currently have a lee oskar major diatonic in C and a hohner golden melody in A. I am looking to buy two more harps one in F or G and the other in Bb preferably ones other than the major diatonic or golden melody. What models do you think I should purchase. I would like ones that have replaceable reed plates. Please let me know what you think.
