Right you are Nick. Funny, I was just at the site a few days ago. But from the post on the site from "Q&A's" it appeares that Charlie and Hering's owner had a falling out. Charlie sounds pretty insistant that he doesn't or won't ever use Herings again. He actually writes, "In my opinion they are awful and unplayable." This is hard to swallow considering the number of years he's used them. I'm sure the reason for this though is because he says that Hering has changed their reed plates. I was considering trying them out but now my curiosity is a bit deflated. Thanx for the tid bit.

: Not to sure what these terms mean,but it might be worth checking out Charlie musselwhite's site. apparently he used to sponser Herring harps. Like I said,"used to" check it out and draw your own conclusions
