: I have a comet (c) octave harmonica. I it has two sets of double holes. Although I can sort of pick out tunes on it, I can't seem to figure out the configuration exactly, as compared to a diatonic in c. Can anyone draw me a picture?

I'm not familiar wih that particular instrument. But typically, octave harps are diatonic. If it has more than the standard ten (double) holes, then most likely the bottom (left end) holes are tuned the same as the standard ten hole layout. But this may not be universal.
