You can get a Lee Oscar Repair Kit through the store on this site. The instruction book is very good and the tools will work with the LO's and Hohners. You might need to buy a small set of flat head screw drivers at 'Radio Shack or a hardware store for some Hohner harmonicas.

You don't need to use solder, it's mega-overkill. Just use the tools in the kit to sharpen or flatten a reed. If you absolutely had to use solder, be sure to use lead-free so it doesn't kill you, but you don't need to.

Keep in mind, old harmonicas with very flat reeds are most likelly shot. Replace the reed plates or buy a new harmonica. Most tuning should be done when the harmonica is close to new for best results.

: Hello,I heard its possible to tune the harmonica different ways by altering the reeds (possibly by adding solder on the reeds) Does anyone know how to or heard of this
