I wouldn't wash your harp out just yet. My opinion:
Harmonicas, harmonica books, harmonica websites for new users should warn people in bold letters on the first page:
"The 2 draw hole may be hard to play at first. Give it some time. Your harp is not broken!"
I actually tried calling Lee Oskar when I got my first harp, because I thought it was broke. Best advise is to try to play a 1-2-3 draw chord. If you can hear three notes, then it isn't broken or stuck.
Later on you'll find that playing the 8 draw can be even more touchy.
