For beginners, it's hard to beat the Gindick stuff. I bought the Rock and Blues book about 3 years ago and found it invalualble (before the site was around). For intermediate blues, try the Jerry Portnoy CD set. Support this site by buying these and others items through the store here.

: I am new to this site and to the harmonica, and I know this question has probably been asked on here before. However, I would really appreciate any help you could offer. Besides this site, could anyone recommend some beginner instructional books, CD's, and/or videos? I am a singer with a good musical foundation (i.e. theory, chord changes, blues style), so I don't really need a "This is what a music note looks like . . ." kind of book.
: I've surfed around enough to find out that many recommend Jon Gindick's video.
: I would so appreciate any input from you guys and gals.

: Thanks,
: Carey D
