Most likely you are accidentally bending. 3D has the most bends possible. If not, then you are choking it, which is what I did with 2D when I started out.
And Bob, the harp can be straight when you get a bend. It's all about the airflow. Try a 2-3-4 draw chord and you'll here it sounds fine.
