when i play i just try to hit the note that is the key of the song alot, especially for resolution and i go for the other chord notes for long tremelo held notes. like if the key is g and im on my c harp ill hit 3blow 6blow and 9 blow alot and go for 4 draw or 8 draw for the long notes. start with songs that only have one tonic, or you can keep up with the changes in the 12 bar blues
