This is the basic scale in the key of A:

A B C# D E F# G# A
4B 4D 5B 5D 6B 6D 7D 7B

(1-3 and 8-10 left out for simplicity)

The cool thing here is this pattern works for any scale. 4B 4D 5B 5D 6B 6D 7D 7B, so if you learn this tune in one key you can transpose by simply switching harps! Now there's a trick you can't do with just any instrument!
