Hey Milo,
I'm glad that you appreciate that this is a harmonica site (and the best one at that!), but considering that a lot of us harmonica enthusiasts also play other instruments, you knocked on the right door!
If what you call the melodica is that little breath-powered instrument with the piano keys,
those keys are the same as the piano, organ and accordion.
The C note is right below the paired black keys. The white keys, starting with C (and play up the scale) are C, D, E, F, G, A, B, C. The black keys provide the flats and sharps. The paired black keys above C are C#/Db, D#/Eb. The next black keys are in a group of three and are F#/Gb, G#/Ab, A#/Bb.
