I have recently bought a Hohner Echo Harp 64 Stimmen
I am really pleased with the tone, but it seems to have a note missing, - b on the lowest octave on the C side, & e is missing on the lowest octave on the G side.
I asked the shop where I purchased it to order me a replacement, but that had the same 'fault'!!!
Surely Hohner didn't design it like this , if so - WHY???
If not, could there be a faulty batch ???
If anyone can enlighten me, please could you e-mail me as soon as possible, as I am really upset &
puzzled.
Also, I bought a Hohner Chromonica 270 as I have spent my life having to miss out semitones.
It works fine, but the tone is really poor compared to a tremolo harmonica.
Is there such a thing as a chromatic harmonica that has a really nice tone? I cant seem to play it as fluently as an ordinary harmonica, even though I have been olaying on & off all my life.
I would be really grateful if someone could explain it to me.
