: : I got a Harmonice given to me by a relative, and have no idea what kind it is.
: : Nothing I have seen on the internet seem to give me any indication as to what kind of Harmonica it is.

: : I have heard of "Diatonic, and "Chromatic", but I am not sure which of these it is.

: : I will try and describe it:

: : It's long....longer than any of the harmonicas I have seen on this site (about twice as long)
: : It is in the key of C
: : It is made by "Hohner", and has the name "Big Valley"
: : It has 24 holes (2 rows of 12)

: : This is all I can think of, but if there's anything else you need to know about it, then ICQ me, or E-mail me, or just ask here

: : Cheers...

: Try going to the Hohner website, http://www.hohnerusa.com/. I would think someone there would know.

: Also, you can try some of the harmonica museum and collector websites found on this page- http://www.harmonicalinks.com/others.html

: Good Luck,
: Stan

2 rows of 12? If it has a slide on the right topsideof it, it's a chromatic harp. If not, it's a tremelo harp.
