Youve got all the right gear.First off I would change the pre amp tubes from 12ax7 to a 12au7 12 ay7 this will cut down on the feedback and allow you to play louder. I used a BJ for a while and its a good amp. The only thing I didnt like was the 12" speaker. Hard to over drive. Good luck and remember dont get mic in front of speaker keep the bass up treble down.
