I recently purchased some software which can slow down music while maintaining the proper pitch. I am finding it very useful for learning riffs. You can even change the key of the music if you want to learn it in a differenct key. You can down load the stuff from the vendors web site in order to try it. If you decide to buy it the cost is about $50. Check it out. I included a link to the company's web site. By the way, I don't have anything to do with the company - I just like the product and I thought others might find it useful.
