Nonetheless, a bad harp is hard to learn on, and not to insult the harp that so many people learned on (my first was a "bluesband"), a Pocket Pal is really just a toy. For about $25 you can get a Special 20, the choice of many musicians, namely yours truly, or a Lee Oskar. Although Lee Oskar offers many, it's up to you want kind you want, but if you're indecisive, I reccomend the regular old "Major" tuning. Go with a key of "C" for your first.
Oh, and if you want a good deal, head on over to www.frfarrell.com and you can get a Special 20 for about $15 or a Lee Oskar for around $18.
