: Just wanted to ask if the Suzuki Pro Master is any good.
: I got it from my birthday recently.

Hm. I had a ProMaster once. Valved, to be exact. It took me a week to discover that valved diatonics are not my thing, so I ripped them off.

The harmonica has a rich and full-bodied sound and a lot of volume. The cover plates are made out of heavy chrome plated brass and do not rust at all. The form is comfortable in the hand, although the aluminum comb makes it heavy to the feel.

I have my objections to aluminum. The oxide of the metal is said to possibly cause Altzheimer's desease. I am not sure and probably it doesn't with everyone, but I for one am not too eager to find out. Besides aluminum and brass are two 'hostile' metals toward eachother, especially in a moist environment. Your mouth is that moist environment. Another thing I don't want to try out.

I sitll keep the harmonica here, but for collector's purposes only. I couldn't even bring myself to give it away. It's like giving your cigarettes to a child because you know they are bad for you....

Happy harpin'
