You can learn to play blues on any 10 hole diatonic harp. I learned on a Pocket Pal, made by Hohner, not a very good harp but it got me started. You are not going to play like Little Walter to start with so you may as well start with an inexpensive harp. Don't listen to people that tell you that you need to start on a Marine Band or a Lee Oskar or whatever, some of our best players like Charlie McCoy and Norton Buffalo, just to name two, play on cheap harps. Its not the instrument that counts its the player. So get a Big River and play your heart out.
