: does any one know that where do all the notes
: locate in the diatonic harmonica? i want to know that
: it helps alot playing simple songs with different melodies, thanks.

This is the note lay out for the C diatonic:

C E G C E G C E G C
D G B D F A B D F A

You can translate this to any key harmonica by using scale steps (major scale). 1C 2D 3E 4F 5G 6A 7B

1 3 5 1 3 5 1 3 5 1
2 5 7 2 4 6 7 2 4 6

Hope this is helpful! Check out the lessons on my web site: www.geocities.com/mottabona/harmonica.html

Keep a harpin'
