We all know it's bloody hard to find harp tabs on the internet (I'm thinking of getting a huge group of people together to remedy that, maybe from this messageboard. Let me know what you think.), but I can say in all fairness that the song really is easy, aside from the solos, which are frankly, impossible to memorize. I mean, let's be honest, John is a speed-demon. I'm sure it is possible to play the solos, but it would require a tremendous amout of memorization. If it helps at all, I'll give you these tips:

-The song "But Anyway" is played in "E" and is using mostly mid and low notes (again excluding the solos).

-To play the solos, just get the gist of the song. There is a basic outline that John uses during the song. Granted, its his song, but you will rarely hear him play NOTE FOR NOTE the same way every time. You will always hear him play a sequence of a few notes at a certain time that are recognizable. And there's sort of a regular scale. But for the actual solos, it seems that he takes the notes and parts that he ALWAYS plays and combines them with alot of improv, going within the boundaries of the song. Does that make sense?

If you're still having trouble and you DESPERATELY want to play the song, I suppose I could tab the basic gist for you...

Hope this helps...
